Need to know if your Club Car has OBC or not.  EZGO and Yamaha does not use OBC.  The OBC will have the negative ground wire for the battery pack running into it and it is a box on the back wall under the seat.

What size cables do I need?

All of your cables need to be the same size.  Battery jumper cables, cables to your controller, solenoid and motor all need to be the same size.  Just upgrading your battery jumpers is not enough because the motor can pull more amps than the batteries do.

 

300A systems = 6 AWG cables

400A systems = 4 AWG cables

500A+ systems = 2 AWG cables
